Raindrops Dance upon a ruddy sill,
Clouded glass made by a fogging nose
As autumn leaves fall time stands still,
Barren trees unbound from their eternal pose.
But soon raindrops turn white,
and autumn winds fall away.
So bunch up tight,
by the roaring fire stay.
For while fall is quite dear
winter is now here.

By Carlos Evaristo Barker I had a dream of waking up getting out of bed and falling through my rug and into a sinister void. Never in all my life could I ever consciously dream up such wonders. I came out of the tear floating in a dazzling cloud of atmospheric dusts high above a bizarre planet. As I float I feel pressure as the primal need for air shatters all awe of this place. I look up as if hoping to see the rippling surface of water to fracture my fright and calm my nerves but I see nothing. Futilely I “swim” through space faster and faster. The lack of gravity propels me through the void
